Where am I?

26 06 2016

Had a moment of vertigo putting up my poster for CALAS. This feels like my thousandth windowless hotel conference-centre and for a split second I had just no idea what month it was or what country I was in.

Luckily, Toronto, CALAS, June, which meant dinner al fresco with Jonathan and stepson Griffin before the meeting started the next day.

And people did take away our ‘three strains’ leaflets! Furthermore, after Sarah Wolfensohn‘s plenary, there was a good ‘cumulative suffering’ session organized by Andrew Winterborn (including a talk by me).  Then home again on the very civilized train. A good day.
